SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) This summer, Jackie Tucker has delivered over 350 boxes of baked goods to health care workers and students in Santa Cruz County.

The treats are Tucker's donation to the community. She orders them from local bakeries that have closed during the pandemic.

Friday, Tucker made a delivery to medical students at Defib This. The school offers continued education for doctors, nurses and paramedics.

"They're coming into this industry at a very unusual time. While they're still in that learning, to be praised for it, it goes so far for them," said director Aqui Williams.
