CHP: Man caught after throwing bottle through CHP Santa Cruz patrol vehicle window

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. (KION) A man was caught after allegedly vandalizing vehicles in the courthouse parking lot in Santa Cruz.

The California Highway Patrol said the man threw a bottle through one of their patrol vehicle windows while the officer was in court.

Santa Cruz Police and the Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office were able to catch the suspect nearby when he tried to run away.
