Suspect arrested in connection to shooting at Sunny Cove Beach
SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, Calif. (KION) The Santa Cruz County Sheriff's Office says it has made an arrest in connection to a shooting at Sunny Cove Beach.
The shooting happened in early August, and witnesses were able to describe the car believed to be involved. Investigators stopped a car matching the description, but they did not find a gun and witnesses did not want to identify the suspect.
The Sheriff's Office handed the case over to the Special Enforcement Team, and the team got help from other agencies that included Hollister police, the San Benito County Sheriff's Office and UNET.
Investigators served six search warrants in Hollister, and 20-year-old Adrian Galvan was arrested on negligent discharge of a gun and gang-related charges.
