Monterey County farmworkers celebrate Mexican Independence by forming human flag

MONTEREY COUNTY, Calif. (KION) Wednesday marks the 210th anniversary of Mexican Independence, and farmworkers found a visual way to celebrate.

Workers in a field near Highway 101 and Chualar dressed in green, white and red to form a human flag while they work.

Mexican Independence Day marks Mexico's declaration of independence from Spain in 1810.
