Max Tarlton, Morning Anchor

Max Tarlton is thrilled to be back in his native state of California, doing what he loves on the beautiful Central Coast. Max is currently part of the Wake Up team and does some general assignment and enterprise reporting.

Most recently, Max was at KMTV 3 News Now – the CBS affiliate in Omaha, Nebraska. He anchored Early Riser along with being the “Alert Desk” Anchor and Traffic Anchor for 3 News Now This Morning. He was known for his “What’s Driving You Crazy?” transportation franchise.

Prior to Omaha, Max was the morning anchor and executive producer for SUNRISE at KYMA News 11 – the NBC affiliate in Yuma, Arizona. Max covered a variety of stories along the U.S./Mexico border including groundbreaking medical stories in his weekly “Healthline 11” report.

Max holds a Broadcast Journalism degree from Columbia College Chicago. While in school, Max was one of seven students selected for the Semester in Los Angeles program. He also had the opportunity to intern with Warner Bros. and WGN News. After graduating, Max began his career as a writer for the WGN Morning News – the most watched local news in Chicago.
