Boy Hurt After Jumping Out Of Moving Van In Soledad - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SOLEDAD, Calif. - A soledad teenager is recovering after jumping out of a moving van Friday afternoon.

Soledad Police say the boy was riding in the van with a group of friends when he jumped out near Benito Street and Montezuma Drive shortly before 4 p.m. He suffered a head injury when he hit the pavement.

The boy was flown to a Bay Area hospital as a precaution. There is no word on his condition.
