King City Police Conduct Drug Sweep At Middle School

KING CITY, Calif. - King City Police say they conducted a drug sweep at Chalone Peaks Middle School Wednesday morning at the request of the school.

The school was placed on lockdown at approximately 10 a.m. due to the sweep.

The police department says two officers and three canines took part in the routine drill, which took about an hour.

Police say no drugs were found, and the lockdown was lifted.
