SAN JOSE, Calif. - The Santa Clara County Sheriff's Office is is investigating an officer involved shooting Monday night involving a San Jose Police Officer.
It happened just after 6:30 Monday night, near Woodhaven - that's east of White Rd.
Officers spotted a suspicious vehicle during a follow up call.
When they tried to stop it, the suspect tried to run one of the officers over.
One shot was fired at the suspect - he was wounded, and later died from his injuries at the hospital.
None of the officers was injured.
