Pizza Place Robbed at Gunpoint in Salinas

SALINAS, Calif. -- Police are on the hunt for two men they say robbed the Papa John's Pizza on Constitution Boulevard Thursday night.

It happed just after 8:30 p.m. That's when officers say two men entered the restaurant with handguns and forced employees to open the cash register and hand over cash. The suspects are described as Hispanic males, with all black clothing and had their faces covered.

The first suspect was about 5'5" tall and 30 years old. The second suspect appeared to be about 5'7" tall and 21 years old. They both wore backpacks and fled out the back door with an undisclosed amount of cash.
