NEW YORK, NY.- One of America's most popular snacks has been saved.

Hostess will sell its Twinkies and other snack cakes to two investment firms. This comes after nobody stepped forward to top that offer. A judge will approve the purchase on March, 19.

In late November, Hostess announced it was going out of business and stopped making its cakes and breads.
