Highway 68 Shut Down in Both Directions

MONTEREY, Calif- One person was killed in a head-on collision on Highway 68 Thursday morning when they were ejected from their car.

It happened just after 9:00 am West of York Road. Three cars were involved in the crash, including an AT&T utility truck.

The two other drivers suffered moderate injuries and were taken to the hospital. Highway 68 is still shut down in both directions. The CHP says it should reopen before 2:00 pm.
