Deputies Looking for Woman Who May Have Known Suspect in Officer Deaths

Posted: Updated:

SANTA CRUZ, Calif- As part of the investigation into the death of the two Santa Cruz Police officers, deputies are looking for a woman who they think was acquainted with the suspect.

Deputies said that Terisa Johnson is not involved with the murder in any way whatsoever; and they just want to speak to her to get additional information on Jeremy Goulet's background and social history.

Goulet, who died at the scene, shot and killed the two police officers as they were coming to talk to him about a case.

Deputies believe that Johnson is homeless and living in a campsite in the City of Santa Cruz.

If you have any information as to Johnson's whereabouts please call the Sheriff's Office at (831) 471-1121 or ask her to call us at that number.
