Arrest Made In 2004 Prunedale Taco Bell Murder

PRUNEDALE, Calif. -- New information on a Monterey County murder suspect featured twice on America's Most Wanted.

Brenden Tsukimura was killed at the Prunedale Shopping Center's Taco Bell in 2004. On Thursday, Central Coast News spoke to his father, Russ Tsukimura, after an arrest was made in the case.

The suspect, Raul M. Sandoval Jr., was arrested at the San Luis Port of Entry Border Crossing in San Luis, Arizona earlier this week on the homicide warrant.

"I was very happy, actually. For eight years, I've just been thinking about it. Will they catch him? Where are they going to catch him?" said Russ Tsukimura.

No word yet on whether Sandoval has been transported back to Monterey County.
