PRUNEDALE, Calif.- Authorities arrested Raul M. Sandoval Jr. at the San Luis Port of Entry border crossing in San Luis, Arizona Tuesday for the 2004 murder of a man at a fast food restaurant in Prunedale.

Sandoval was taken into custody on the homicide warrant out of Monterey County with the assistance of the United States Marshals Office out of both San Francisco and San Jose. Authorities had been searching for the suspect since 2004 when police say he murdered Brenden Tsukimura at the Taco Bell in the Prunedale Shopping Center on Vierra Canyon Road.

Police said Sandoval has been on the run since the crime, even airing twice on America's Most Wanted. Investigators from Monterey County flew to Arizona to follow up on his arrest.
