Community Rally to End Gun Violence in Santa Cruz Tuesday

SANTA CRUZ, Calif. - A community rally to fight back against gun violence is scheduled Tuesday in Santa Cruz.

The rally is at the Town Clock in downtown Santa Cruz, Tuesday, February 26, 2013, from 4:30-5:30p.m.

Santa Cruz County Superintendant of Schools Michael Watkins and retired homicide Detective Stoney Brooke are scheduled to speak about the issue at the rally.

Organizers say they want to speak out against the growing epidemic, especially in light of the Newtown, Connecticut tragedy.
