San Jose Couple Identified as Divers Who Died in Carmel - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

CARMEL, Calif- The two scuba divers who died off the coast of Monterey Bay have been identified.

40-year-old Volodymyer Butsky and his wife, 41-year-old Marina Butsky both died while scuba diving at Point Lobos State Natural Reserve Friday afternoon.

When rescue crews arrived, Marina Butsky had already been pulled out of the water and Firefighters had to go into the water to recover her husband's body.

The incident remains under investigation, and the exact cause of their deaths has not been determined.
