Blind Rescue Dog Travels From Taiwan to Pacific Grove - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

PACIFIC GROVE, Calif- Micey, a Collie mix, was found wondering the streets of Taiwan with her eyes bulging and red due to sever glaucoma, said a local animal rescue group.

In order to help her condition, both of her eyes had to be removed. Though Micey was doing better, finding a home for a blind dog in Taiwan is near impossible, said the Taiwanese rescue group who found her. 

Their main goal is to help local dogs in need but the Peace of Mind Dog Rescue in Pacific Grove has stepped in to help find this special dog a home. A Taiwanese volunteer has agreed to fly with Micey all the way to San Francisco.
