Seaside Police: Mother Killed Baby, Hid Decomposing Body Behind Home

SEASIDE, Calif. -- Seaside police are charging 39-year old Jennifer Cecilia Warren is charged with first-degree murder relating to the death of an infant.

Detectives say Warren came to police yesterday afternoon to report suspicious activiity in her neighborhood, and during questioning, she told them about a baby's body hidden under the house. She also told them that it had been there for about two years.

The body was found in a crawl space inside her home. Police could not release how the body was found, but that it was badly decomposed.

Police said Warren is a single mother with no other children besides the infant who was found dead. She lives at the home with her boyfriend, but he is not considered a suspect in the case.
 
Officers said Warren grew up on the Central Coast and even went to high school in the area.
 
Investigators said Warren has no criminal history.
