PACIFIC GROVE, Calif- In 2012 an off-duty officer was stabbed on Forest Avenue at 2 a.m. and the suspects got away. However, after the officer said what happened the District Attorney began investigating the case because they believed he may have lied about what happened.
Thursday, the District Attorney said that they will not be filing charges against the officer. According to the Seaside Deputy Chief, the officer is still on paid administrative leave as the department conducts its own investigation into the incident.
