Woman Raped on UC Santa Cruz Campus, Police Still Looking for Suspect

SANTA CRUZ, Calif- A woman who was visiting the University of California in Santa Cruz was raped while she was walking in a wooded area between the Upper Quarry Amphitheater and the Classroom Unit buildings, said police.

The suspect is described as a white male adult, 30 to 40 years of age, pale colored skin with a round shaped face. He is approximately 5'-10" to 5'-11" tall, weighs at least 200 lbs. with a muscular-stocky build. The suspect has dark black, medium length hair, green eyes, and a dark black large growth full mustache goatee combination.

He wore a dark blue t-shirt with writing of an unknown type on the front, dark blue Levi-type jeans, and a black belt with a silver colored buckle. The suspect wore Oakley style sunglasses on top of his head. He has a tattoo (unknown design) on the upper right shoulder-bicep area, which was covered mostly by the t-shirt sleeve. The suspect spoke with a deep growl sounding voice and smelled of cigarettes.
