Castroville Baby and Man Reported Missing

CASTROVILLE, Calif.-  The Monterey County Sheriff's Department is looking for a missing infant and man from Castroville, after reports of child abuse.

The department said 10-month-old Angelle Jenisis Negron and 47-year-old Jesus Vargas Espinoza went missing Saturday night.  An Amber Alert hasn't been issued.

Deputies think Espinoza may have taken off to Mexico.  If you' ve seen Negron or Espinoza or have any information either one of them, call the sheriff's department at 831-755-3772.

    SALINAS, Calif- Police are responding to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. At this time police have E. Bernal at North Main closed off looking for a possible suspect.
    Police responded to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. A witness who saw the stabbing tried to help the victim get to the hospital. He carried the suspect to the car and sped towards the hospital, said police.
