After all these years it might be when you eat, not what you eat, that matters most.
According to a new spanish study, apparently timing is everything.
In a twenty week study of dieters, those who ate their main meal after 3:00 pm lost twenty two percent less weight than those who ate the bulk of their calories earlier in the day.
Researchers were intrigued because everyone was eating and burning the same number of calories, following a mediterranean style diet.
The theory is that eating later in the day confuses the body's internal clock and
might have a negative effect on metabolism.
