Scotts Valley PD Arrest Man Suspected of Slashing Tires

SCOTTS VALLEY, Calif. - Scotts Valley Police arrested 28-year-old Adrian Angel Sanchez just after 10 o'clock Thursday night at a home in the San Lorenzo Valley.

Sanchez is said to be responsible for slashing tires in a movie theatre parking lot on Mt. Hermon Rd. while intoxicated. Police responded to calls regarding vandalism and public intoxication and found several witnesses that were able to give officers a description of the suspect, the vehicle and a license plate number.

Officers alerted nearby Santa Cruz County deputies to be on the lookout. One of the deputies recognized the vehicle to belong to a man that lived near the theatre in Scotts Valley. Police responded immediately to the home and found the suspect in the driveway.

SPolice said Sanchez was attempting to get rid of the hubcap that he is suspected of stealing from one of his victims. Police also found a knife that they believe was used during the crime.

Sanchez was arrested and charged with vandalism, possession of a dagger, possession of stolen property and public intoxication.

    SALINAS, Calif- Police are responding to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. At this time police have E. Bernal at North Main closed off looking for a possible suspect.
