Frozen Food and Spinach Recalls

SALINAS, Calif.--Nestlé Prepared Foods Company has issued a nationwide recall for two production codes of Lean Cuisine® Culinary Collection Mushroom Mezzaluna Ravioli, UPC 13800-58358.

The reason for the recall is that the meal may contain fragments of glass. The production codes of the affected products are 2311587812 and 2312587812; the "best before date" appears as DEC 2013.

The recall is limited to two days of production. No other production dates, sizes or varieties of Lean Cuisine products are affected by this recall. The company has issued this recall after three consumers reported they had found small fragments of glass in the ravioli portion of the entrée.

Taylor Farms Retail, Inc., has initiated a voluntary recall of select Organic Baby Spinach productsdue to the potential of contamination by (EHEC) Enterohemorrhagic Escherichia coli.
