Suspicious Package Reported at Natividad Hospital, Evacuations U - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

UPDATE: The suspicious package was just several cell phones wrapped up, police say there is no danger at Natividad.

SALINAS, Calif- There was a report of a suspicious package at Natividad Hospital. Police placed several floors of the hospital under evacuation.

A hospital employee found the suspicious package in the bathroom of the emergency room around 9:30 a.m. and called police. The first and second floors of the hospital were evacuated.

Police have not said where patients that were already in the hospital were evacuated to, but they did say that all emergency services are being told to go to SVMH.
