15th Hole A Big Support For Amateur Golfers at Pebble Beach Pro-Am

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- When the marshal's arms go up, there's supposed to be silence on the golf course.  But on hole 15 for the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-AM you didn't get a lot of silence.

"Our motto is professional support for the amateur golfer," said Steve Kasper, Co-Founder of Club 15.

Celebrity golfers didn't mind one bit. Ray Romano enjoyed the chants.

"That's a fun, fun hole there. I'm playing horrible and its nice to at least have a little fun today," said Romano.

49ers Coach Jim Harbaugh even asked the crowd to get louder and he said he wouldn't mind if the group followed him at every hole.

"I think that would be a good addition," said Harbaugh.

The group called "Club 15" have been setting up camp on the 15th hole for the past 10 years. Club 15 gives the amateur golfers a hat and ask how loud they want to cheer before the tee off. It's a tradition for spectators and players like actor Josh Duhmel.

"The hole 15 always helps, that's one of the highlights of the tournament for me," said Duhmel.

Andy Roddick couldn't contain his excitement and jumped into the crowd. Pro-Am favorite Bill Murray even put on a show with Harris Barton. Actor Oliver Hudson even took a spin at reporting asking Duhmel, "how was that shot for you," said Hudson.
