3 Arrested After Greenfield Police Serve Warrant

GREENFIELD, Calif. -- Three Greenfield men were arrested and charged with possession of drugs and several other charges.

Police served a search warrant along the 200 block of Burgundy Drive. When officers arrived at a home they said they found lots of meth and marijuana for sale.

Investigators also discovered several electronic devices inside the home that were possibly linked to recent burglaries in Greenfield. Police said all of the items were taken in for examination to find out which items were stolen from each burglary.

All three men were booked into the Monterey County Jail on several charges. 61-year old Jose Refugio Alvarez was booked on a felony warrant and charged with possession and sales of narcotics, unlawfully selling drugs out of a home and obstructing a peace officer. 24-year old Edward Ivan Ochoa was arrested for possession of meth for sale and violation of probation. 25-year old Geraldo Gonzales Valenzuela was booked on charged of possession of a controlled substance and possession of narcotics paraphernalia.

    SALINAS, Calif- Police are responding to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. At this time police have E. Bernal at North Main closed off looking for a possible suspect.
