FELTON, Calif.- Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies arrested Amber Fancher and Christopher Freehart after a routine probation search turned into a significant drug bust.

Deputies said the man and woman were caught overnight with several pounds of marijuana in their possession as well as other drugs. Fancher and Freehart were arrested on the 11000 block of Lakeview Avenue in Felton, just after midnight Thursday.

They were caught with more than six pounds of pot and methamphetamine.

Both were booked into Santa Cruz County jail on charges of possession for sale as well as the probation violations.
