Man Accidentally Shot Himself In Leg, Capitola Police Say

CAPITOLA, Calif. -- Capitol Police said the man who was shot in the leg near the Capitola Wharf on Wednesday night accidentally shot himself.

It happened on the 5000 block of Cliff Drive.

Officers said the Santa Cruz man was on scene with another person. They said both of them did not cooperate in the investigation.

The man was taken to a hospital and is expected to be ok.
