CAPITOLA, Calif- One person was shot in the leg in Capitola Wednesday night. Police said the victim was being uncooperative with the investigation.
Police arrived on scene to a report of a man with a broken leg on the 5000 block of Cliff Drive. When they got there, they found the victim, who had been shoot. The victim was at the scene with another person, said police. Both of them would not help police in the investigation, said the department in a news release.
The victim was flown to a bay area trauma center, his injuries are believed to be non-life threatening.
No arrests have been made and the Capitola Police Department is working with the Santa Cruz County Anti-Gang Task Force in this case.
