Quickstop Theft in Hollister, Suspects Still At Large

HOLLISTER, Calif. -- Police said they're looking for a man who stole alcohol from a local Quickstop shop.

Police said the theft happened on January 20th at the store on San Felipe Road and North Street. Officers said the man is described as a Hispanic male between 25-30 years old, who's about 6'1'' weighing between 230-250 lbs. They said he walked into the store around 2:00 a.m., walked straight to the coolder and grabbed an 18 pack of beer then ran out of the store.

A store worker chased the man outside the store but told police the suspect jumped into a car that was waiting for him with a second suspect. Police said the car was last seen driving southbound on San Benito Street, then westbound on Third Street.  

Police said the suspect who came in the store was wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, and had a mustashe. Officers said the getaway cat was a late model silver Jeep Cherokee.
