BON LOMOND, Calif. -- Deputies are searching for 26-year old Guadalupe Cortez of Soquel. Search and rescue teams are looking in the area of Ben Lomond where she was last seen.

Santa Cruz County Sheriff's deputies said Cortez was reported missing early Monday morning. Officers said Cortez was last seen Sunday afternoon around 12:30 p.m. Deputies said she was swimming with two men in the river by Highlands park. One of the men swimming with Cortez is the person who reported her missing the next day.

Officers found Cortez's 1996 green Jeep in the parking area of Highlands Park. Search and rescue teams canvassed the area but couldn't find anything. Now additional resources are being brought in to find the girl including search dogs, SAR ground search and a water team to look along the San Lorenzo River.

Anyone with information is asked to call 471-1121.
