SALINAS, Calif. -- Salinas police and fire are on scene at the Northridge Mall after getting reports of smoke and the smell of fire coming from Spencer's.

Police said no flames were visible when they arrived. Officers said no one is being evacuated from the building.

Right now crews are investigating the cause of the smoke.
