WASHINGTON, D.C. - It's Hilary Clinton's last day as the Secretary of State.
She'll step aside, making way for an incoming John Kerry.
For her last day, Clinton will have a meeting at the White House before saying goodbye to her staff at the State Department then leaving.
Clinton will go down as the most travelled Secretary of State in American history.
So far, she's downplayed rumors of a 2016 presidential run, but she says she's sad to go.
In her last public speech Thursday, Clinton spoke about what she was expecting to feel today, her last day in office.
"I know that tomorrow, my heart will be very full. Serving with the men and women of the state department and usaid has been a singular honor."
She went on to say America's ability to convene and connect is unparalleled, and is the reason the United States will continue to lead, even if it's in new ways.
Incoming John Kerry is expected to be sworn in in a private ceremony Friday afternoon.
