Fruit Pizza is a refreshing brunch item that can also be used as a dessert. I have been making this pizza over the past ten years with seasonal fruit variations. The crust is made from crescent rolls and the "sauce" is cream cheese-based. Generally, I use strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, & blackberries, kiwis and mandarin oranges.
49er Fruit Pizza Recipe
1 pkg crescent roll
1 160z philadelphia cream cheese (whipped is prefered)
1/2 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup sugar
1 large package fresh strawberries
1 large can of mandarin oranges
(add raspberries, blueberries, kiwis, etc)if desired
1 cup coconut toasted
1 container Maries strawberry glaze
Unroll crescent rolls onto a pizza pan, Bake as instructed on package. Let cool. Beat vanilla, sugar and whipped cream cheese till well blended and spread on cooled pie. Then cut strawberries and other fruits desired and place in whatever design you'd like. Toast coconut and sprinkly over fruit. Take maries glaze and drizzle onto fruit pizza. Cut and enjoy!!!
