CBS: Gunman in Custody After Two People Were Shot at an Atlanta Middle School

ATLANTA, GA. -- CBS is reporting that a 14-year old student and a teacher were shot at Prince Middle School in southeast Atlanta. Officers said they have the gunman in custody.

CBS Atlanta is reporting that the 14-year old student was shot in the head and taken to Grady Memorial Hospital in downtown Atlanta, according to Atlanta Fire and Rescue. Police said the teacher was treated for minor injuries and was not taken to the hospital.  

The school is located along the 1600 block of Benjamin Weldon Bickers and is currently on lockdown.

Police are still investigating the incident. Atlanta Public Schools plans to hold a news conference with more information.
