Jackson, Tennessee- Take a look at the sad eyes of a dog in a kennel whose owner had to give it up and your heart can break. Owners have to give up their dogs for many reason, but one man in Tennessee gave up his dog because he thought the dog was gay.
The dog is at a Jackson, Tennessee shelter and, according to the Facebook page, he is set to be euathanized because there is no more room for him.
So what was wrong with this dog that his owner gave him over to a shelter with the possibility that he be put down? The owner reportedly saw the dog "hunched" over another male dog and decided he could not own any "gay dog", said the shelter in a Facebook post.
Most animal experts agree that this behavior is natural in a dog and has nothing to do with homosexuality.
As of now we have been unable to confirm whether or not this dog has been saved, but the post about the "Gay Dog" on Facebook has gone viral.
