AT&T National Pro-Am Needs Volunteers

PEBBLE BEACH, Calif. -- The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am swings into town Monday, February 4th, and the golf tournament needs volunteers.

The Carmel Youth Center is calling on anyone who is interested, to sign up for the opportunity to volunteer, to help the youth center raise funds to support youth programs. There are several different five or six hour shifts, starting at 7am and ending at 6pm. Volunteers will work food and concession tents, including prepping and serving food and beverages for sale. Volunteers will start February 5th, and may work through February 10th.

In exchange, volunteers will get free admission to the event before or after shifts, a free meal, and free shuttle service to and from Pebble Beach Golf Links.

    SALINAS, Calif- Police are responding to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. At this time police have E. Bernal at North Main closed off looking for a possible suspect.
    Police responded to a report of a stabbing that happened on East Alisal Friday afternoon. A witness who saw the stabbing tried to help the victim get to the hospital. He carried the suspect to the car and sped towards the hospital, said police.
