CAPITOLA, Calif.--Police responded to a call last night of an attempted robbery.
The woman says she was in her car at a traffic light around nine o'clock.. at the intersection of Clares Street and Capitola Road.
She told police that a man was standing on the sidewalk and began walking towards her passenger side window. The man then allegedly pulled out a handgun and pointed it at the victim.
The victim sped up and called the police, who were not able to find the suspect.
