SALINAS, Calif.- The Graffiti Task Force will be holding its quarterly meeting on Monday to address a major change in who will tackle the problem in Salinas.
The meeting, Jan. 28th, 5:00 - 6:00 p.m. will give special attention to the announcement that the City of Salinas will be taking over graffiti monitoring and abatement from Republic Services. Organizers said attendees can count on a reporting of recent graffiti statistics, prosecution and efforts to control illegal activity involving graffiti.

Founded in the fall of 2010, the mission of the Salinas Graffiti Task Force is to unite business, neighborhoods, law enforcement, city officials and community groups to address illegal graffiti effecting both public and private property.
