Man Charged with Multiple Counts of Child Molestation - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

MORGAN HILL, Calif. - The Santa Clara County District Attorney's Office has filed 8 counts of child molestation charges with special circumstance against 65-year-old Miguel Saucedo Delgado of Morgan Hill. 

The charges are related to a Morgan Hill Police Department investigation in which Delgado was alleged to have molested four separate child victims. The victims, three of which were still juveniles at the time reporting, told police that Delgado sexually abused them between the ages of 5 and 13 while they lived in Morgan Hill.

A $500,000 arrest warrant was issued by the Santa Clara County Superior Court for Delgado as a result of those charges.

Around 1:20 Thursday afternoon, members of Morgan Hill Police Department served a search warrant at Delgado's residence in Morgan Hill. During the execution of search warrant Detectives seized numerous items of evidence. 

Delgado was not home during the search but was contacted a short time later and surrendered himself into custody at the Morgan Hill Police Department. He was booked into county jail on 8 counts of child molestation with a special circumstance for multiple victims.
