Robbery in Salinas at Quick Stop Market

SALINAS, Calif. -- Police said a male suspect wearing a red bandana and a black hooded sweatshirt walked into the business with a gun and demanded money.

It happened at the Quick Stop at 2143 North Main Street in Salinas.

Officers said the clerk gave the man an undisclosed amount of money. Police said the suspect fled from the store and was last seen running towards Perez Street in a Honda-type car.

Anyone with information is asked to call 758-7321 or to remain anonymous call 775-4222.
