CARMEL, Calif.- Carmel wins over Greenfield in league play Wednesday night, 48-39.
At halftime, Carmel was 22 to Greenfield's 16 points on the scoreboard.
Carmel was led by Yui Lee with 15 points, 6 rebounds and 4 steals, Kayce Stachelek had 13 points, 11 rebounds and 3 steals, Madelynn Whittaker had 6 points with 10 rebounds, and Amber Clark added 9 points and 7 rebounds.
Greenfield was led by Araceli Martinez with 13 points and Abby Herrera with 12.
Carmel is now 8-5, and 4-1 in the MTAL, or Mission Trail Athletic League, and Greenfield is 5-10 and 2-3 in the MTAL.
Carmel plays York at home on Friday.
