Hollister Fire Fighters Union Alleges Retaliation and Discrimination

Posted: Updated:

HOLLISTER, Calif.- The Hollister Fire Fighters Union claims four of its members are facing harassment and retaliation by the city manager, fire chief, city attorney and city council.

The HFFU said in a news release Monday on May 22, 2012, they took a vote of "no confidence" against the city manager and fire chief. The union said their complaints have yet to be investigated by the city.

The union said the complaints stem from an incident during the race for Hollister's mayor.

No city leaders could be reached at the time of this article Monday night.
