WATSONVILLE, Calif- There was no webslinging involved but it appears Spiderman may have had a change of heart, rather than fighting crime causing it!
On Sunday night, Watsonville Police say two men robbed the Wooden Nickel Bar and Grill on Freedom Boulevard.
One of the men wore a Spiderman mask and was armed with a semi-automatic pistol.
The second suspect covered his face with a sweatshirt.
The suspects went behind the bar and stole cash from the register, then fled down a nearby alley.
No patrons at the bar were injured or robbed, just the store.
Watsonville Police are asking anyone with information to call the Investigations Department at 831-768-3352.
