SALINAS, Calif.- State Senator Anthony Cannella and Salinas City Councilman Steve McShane will talk money and budgets over a cup of coffee with the public.
They are inviting anyone to join the discussion Friday, January 25th at 8:00 AM, 2013 at Villa Serra – 1320 Padre Drive, Salinas CA 93901.
McShane said Salinas continues to be hard hit by tight state and local budgets, forcing dramatic reductions in services and support for taxpayers.
"This unique forum will feature remarks and discussion with California State Senator Anthony Cannella," said McShane in a news release.
Senator Cannella will be joined by Monterey County Supervisor Jane Parker, Salinas Mayor Joe Gunter & Salinas City Councilman Steve McShane.
The Forum is open to the public and will allow plenty of time for question and answer. Plenty of coffee and tea will be served to get the attendees energized. RSVP'S are encouraged due to the high level of interest in the subject and the need to prepare accordingly.
