Alisal High School Sending 60 Students to D.C. - Central Coast News KION/KCBA

SALINAS, Calif. -- More than 60 students from Alisal High School are getting ready for a big trip to Washington D.C. The students plan to leave this Friday to see the presidential inauguration.

Dreams of D.C. Club Advisor Ruben Pizarro told Central Coast New that the students raised over $75,000 for the trip. They are leaving Salinas on Friday at 5:00 a.m. for their trip. A total of 61 students will be going that's almost twice as many students that attended the last inauguration in 2009.
