SAN BRUNO, Calif. - New information surfaced Monday, on a deadly pipeline gas explosion in San Bruno in 2010, that killed eight people.
A consultant for PG&E testified in court, saying pipe inspections before this disaster were effective.
The pipeline consultant testified before judges who are considering whether to levy as much as $500 Million in fines against the company.
The National Transportation Safety board found that, in 2011, records were flawed, and the company didn't know enough about the pipe that exploded.
