HOLLISTER, Calif. -- Hollister police are investigating an armed robbery that happened at the Rabobank at 491 Tres Pinos Road Monday around 10:30 am.
Witnesses told police two men wearing masks and gloves came through the front door of the bank. The suspects told the customers to lie on the on the floor and then demanded money from the clerks.
According to police, the suspects ran off with an undisclosed amount of cash to a vehicle waiting in the parking lot.
The suspects were described as males, between 5'9" and 6 feet tall with a medium build. One was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and the other was wearing a gray or white hooded sweatshirt. Both suspects were armed with handguns.
After further investigation, officers learned there was a third suspect who waited in a car just outside the bank. The suspect vehicle is reported to be an older model white 2-door Honda Accord with a similar plate of 6WK2K3. No description was given of the driver. The suspect vehicle was last seen speeding away from the area.
