SALINAS, Calif. -- Police said they responded to a strongarm robbery on Sanborn Road where two suspects got away with a woman's cell phone and necklace.
It happened Saturday around 8:00 p.m. behind the 1300 block of North Sanborn Road. Officers said the 24-year old victim was walking by herself when two men confronted her. Police said they simulated having a gun on their waistband and demanded her phone. They took it from the woman and as they ran away also ripped off her necklace.
Police said the suspects were described as Hispanic. Officers said both men are about 5'5'' and weigh around 140 lbs. One of the suspects was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, the other was wearing a white shirt.
Anyone with information should call police.
